The Best Paper Award is for scientific papers in Minimal Access Surgery and allied sciences. Judging gives weight to relevance and scientific rigor, with preference for randomized studies, followed by cohort and case-control studies.
The Best Institutional Video Award recognizes exceptional videos from institutions in Minimal Access Surgery and allied sciences. Judging focuses on the quality of the video, the teaching points highlighted, and the clarity of the message. The presenter should be working in the institute and be authorized to present the video.
The Best Faculty Video Award is for exceptional videos by independent surgeons in Minimal Access Surgery and allied sciences. Judging is based on video quality, teaching points highlighted, and the clarity of the message.
The Young Scholar Award is for scientific papers in Minimal Access Surgery and allied sciences. It is intended for postgraduate residents or fellows, and judging emphasizes relevance and scientific rigor with preference for randomized, cohort, and case-control studies in that order.
The Best Poster Award is for posters in the field of Minimal Access Surgery and allied sciences, with blinded review before selection for podium presentation.
All accepted abstracts and videos that proceed to presentation should have valid conference registration and complete membership confirmation before the podium session. If these requirements are not met, the entry may be removed from the award presentation list.
